Path Of Exile Builds Guide: Spectral Throw Champion Builds

Spectral Throw Champion Build Guide

· Path of Exile,Path of Exile Builds,PoE Currency,Buy PoE Currency

Spectral Throw has been in a weird spot as of late, where it still is one of the most satisfying skills to play in the entire game, but because of its playstyle has lacked damage to compete in the current poe landscape. Now, what a lot of people don’t realize is that after The Saviour got released the skill actually got a lot stronger. Through scaling Impales and using The Saviour to create clones of ourselves, we can ramp up to incredibly high Damage numbers. Sadly, as per every Impale build, to get optimal amounts of damage you’re going to need to invest. You need a lot of poe currency to builds it.

Path Of Exile Builds Guide: Spectral Throw Champion Builds

  • A different take on Champion

Cons:

  • Requires Crafting knowledge / loads of currency
  • Relies on The Saviour which is hard to find in Solo Self-Found
  • Not a league-starter whatsoever
  • Not a hardcore build whatsoever as it is fair squishy
  • Requires a gem swap on bosses

Gem Links

1. Spectral Throw – Main Link (6-Link)

Your 6th link is a little bit up for debate here. Damage on Full LIfe outperforms Maim Support by quite a bit but also is conditional to you staying on Full Life and dodging mechanics. Make sure to swap out Greater Multiple Projectiles Support for Slower Projectiles Support on bosses!

  • Spectral Throw

Spectral Throw is an attack. It throws the current melee weapon at an enemy and returns to the player, dealing damage to enemies in its path.

  • Awakened Vicious Projectiles Support

This is the awakened variant of Vicious Projectiles Support obtainable in maps.

  • Awakened Brutality Support

In addition to better numerical stats than the base version it does offer the benefit of reducing the enemies' total physical damage reduction against supported hits.

  • Impale Support
Impale Support is a support gem which grants the supported skill a chance to impale, dealing a portion of the physical damage it dealt over the next 5 attacks. It also increases the effect of the impale effect and grant more physical damage.
  • Maim Support or Damage on Full Life Support

Maim support is a support gem that grants a chance to maim on hit and these maimed enemies will then take increased physical damage.

Damage on Full Life is a support gem that grants more damage made with the supported attack skill, but only when the player is on full life. Being even one life below the maximum will nullify the effect.

  • Slower Projectiles Support / Awakened Greater Multiple Projectiles Support

Slower Projectiles is a support gem. It reduces the speed and increases the damage of supported projectile skills.

Greater Multiple Projectiles (often referred to as GMP) is a support gem that causes any linked projectile skills to fire four more projectiles than they otherwise would. For instance, Spark, which normally launches three projectiles, would instead launch seven sparks when supported by this gem.

2. Auras

The build runs 5 auras of which 2 are linked here because you want to link them to an Enlighten Support.

  • Flesh and Stone

Flesh and Stone is an aura that activates Blood and Sand Stance. In Blood Stance (Flesh), the aura maims nearby enemies while increasing the physical damage they take. In Sand Stance (Stone), the aura blinds enemies in radius and grants the user damage reduction against enemies outside the aura. Activating the skill while it's toggled on will alternate between stances. Certain skills also behave differently based on the stance you are currently in.

  • Enlighten Support (level 3 or 4)

Enlighten is a support gem that has no modifiers, and its sole function is having a mana multiplier less than 100%.

  • Pride

Pride is an aura skill which causes nearby enemies to take more physical damage. The effect of the aura increases the longer an enemy stays within the aura's radius.

  • Maim Support

Maim support is a support gem that grants a chance to maim on hit and these maimed enemies will then take increased physical damage.

3. Buffs

For your convenience, you are allowed to put all of your buffs in the same item slot. Blood Rage gets you Frenzy Charges while mapping and a big attack speed buff, Ice Golem gets you some extra Critical Strike Chance. Ancestral Protector should be put down on bosses for 20% more attack speed while Vaal Haste gives you even more Attack Speed. You’re only using the Vaal portion of Haste, and should not be reserving the regular Aura part.

  • Blood Rage

Blood Rage applies a buff that deals physical damage to the player over time, while increasing attack speed and life leech. Killing an enemy while this buff is active refreshes the buff duration, and has a chance to grant a frenzy charge.

  • Summon Ice Golem

Summon Ice Golem is a minion spell, summoning a Golem that grants the player increased Critical Strike Chance and Accuracy while active. The Ice Golem can use a barrage of icy spikes and a chilling spinning dash that leaves chilled ground in addition to its melee attack.

  • Ancestral Protector

Ancestral Protector is a skill that creates a totem which will attack enemies with melee strikes while the player stands close to it. Being near it increases the player's attack speed.

  • Vaal Haste

Vaal Haste is a vaal aura that temporarily increases the attack speed, cast speed, and movement speed of the player and their allies.

4. Aura Setup #2

This is where the rest of your auras are run, which again are linked to an Enlighten. Dread Banner is here to help Impales where a Herald of Purity is just the strongest Herald DPS-wise. A low-level Precision is there as it gets you some solid DPS for just reserving a very little amount of Mana.

  • Precision (level 1 is fine)

Precision is an aura that adds accuracy and critical strike chance to the caster and nearby allies.

  • Dread Banner

Dread Banner is a banner aura skill. While the banner is active, it grants the user and nearby allies a chance to impale on attack and causes nearby enemies to have decreased accuracy. When placed, the Banner provides a Fortify effect to nearby allies.

  • Herald of Purity

Herald of Purity is a herald skill gem. When activated, it reserves mana for a buff that grants more physical damage for attacks and spells. It also summons a Sentinel of Purity minion when the player kills an enemy or on hitting a rare or unique enemy while active.

  • Enlighten Support (level 3 or 4)

Enlighten is a support gem that has no modifiers, and its sole function is having a mana multiplier less than 100%.

5. Mobility

We chose to use Whirling Blades because its super fast and feels amazing! Because you can’t jump ledges with it, you’re using up your last socket on a Leap Slam here.

  • Leap Slam

Leap Slam is an attack skill that performs a leap to a target area, damaging and knocking back enemies landed on. It is guaranteed to stun enemies at full life.

  • Whirling Blades

Whirling Blades is an attack skill. The player dives in a target direction, dealing damage to enemies they pass through.

  • Faster Attacks Support

Faster Attacks is a support gem that increases the attack speed of the supported skill.

When we build, we can strengthen our equipment and gems by buying poe currency, poe currency is used to players trade items, strengthens equipment, skill gems, etc.
